Shot Gun Range

Things are starting to take shape out at the shotgun range. Right after Thanksgiving we re-set the 50 yard marker which is used for checking flight distance of the targets when setting for competitions. The first Saturday of December we had our monthly PITA Multiplex shoot. We had 17 shooters from Kenmore competing against 50 other clubs throughout the western states, Kenmore guys posted some good scores, Jim Storlie and Greg Miner posted 50 straight in singles, Sean Miller and Andrew Gough posted 50 straight in doubles. Kenmore threw the most targets in Washington (2300) vs. 6 other clubs.

Ladies Night was another fun night. They had a Xmas cookie exchange, Mark Silver was “Chief Cookie Monster Inspector”!! As well as a raffle, it was a nice evening for the ladies to get in some rounds of trap too!

Next Month we have the Multiplex on Jan.6th, followed by the start of a 4 shoot competition against Machais, and Granite Falls, know as the McMurtry Shoot. Kenmore will defending the title this year…. Hope every one had a fun Holiday and see you at the Shot Gun Range!!
