Membership – 2019

Kenmore Range is owned and operated by the Wildlife Committee of Washington for the benefit of its members and the outdoor sports community. The Wildlife Committee of Washington is one of the largest sportsmen’s organizations of its kind with over 2,000 members. Memberships are available to adults of good character willing to associate themselves with the club’s goals.

The Wildlife Committee of Washington is a non-profit sportsmen’s club organized and incorporated in 1945 to promote wildlife conservation, ethical hunting and fishing, hunting and firearm safety and education, and the shooting sports. The club is managed by a Board of Directors of 12 volunteer members, elected annually from the general membership, who handle the day to day administrative and business functions of the club. Club activities are organized and directed by open committees of the membership.

Membership Benefits

  • Members’ cost for the privilege of using the facilities approximates the cost to the club for providing the service (as determined by the Board).
  • Members can qualify to use the ranges outside of public shooting hours, to use member only ranges, and to shoot courses of fire and/or distances not allowed the public shooters.
  • Members can purchase ammunition, loading components, and shooter’s supplies at reduced prices below the already competitive public pricing.
  • Members have a full and equal vote on matters of club operations and have the opportunity to participate in club events and activities.
  • Family membership gives both spouses full member status and all their minor, dependent children normal member use of the facilities under parental supervision.
  • Members can access our monthly newsletters and the upcoming schedules of club meetings and activities by visiting our web site.

Member Responsibilities

The Wildlife Committee of Washington is a non-profit sportsmen’s club, not just a shooting range. This means that the members must support all the goals of the club with their efforts and their dues and fees. Please remember that clubs do not refund dues, or forgive dues, just because members do not, or cannot, make use of the club’s range facilities.
