A 5 to 5½ hour class in shotgun-specific safety and shooting skills. Approximately ½ of the class consists of live-firing on the range. Intended for the first-time shooter.

Classes are conducted on the first Saturday of each month from 9:30am to about 3:00pm in the Chalet classroom.
Cost: $35 per student. The class fee includes 2 rounds of Trap Shooting at a time of your choosing after the class – the equivalent of a $11.00 rebate.
Students under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by their parent.
If you have your own shotgun, you should bring it. The club does have shotguns available to borrow upon request. If you borrow a club gun for training, you must purchase club ammunition.
Required Materials: Shotgun, 50 rounds of ammunition (light trap loads only), eye and hearing protection, and a bag lunch and drinks (all can be purchased at the range).
Class is limited to the first 8 students.
