Ladies Shotgun Sundays

Curious to learn or try trap shooting but don’t have a shotgun? Want to practice your trap shooting in a safe environment with other kindred ladies? Kenmore is proud to announce Ladies Shotgun Sundays!

Free instruction and supervised shooting will be held on the third Sunday of every month at the Shotgun range from 11AM-3PM.

When: Third Sunday of every month | 1100-1500
Ages: All ages welcome! Minors must be accompanied by a parent
Cost: Free Instruction and free loaner shotguns are available. Trap lines, ammunition and accessories are available at member pricing.

Pre-registration is not required! Eyes and ears are available at the range.

Youth Shotgun League registration opens on October 1, in person at the Shotgun range office.Space is limited to the first 15 registered and paid shooters ages 10-17.  Youth Shotgun league shoots every other Sunday, with the first session starting on November 3.  

  • The league is every other Sunday beginning 11/3/2019-3/15/2020.
  • Youth Shotgun League is limited to the first 15 shooters registered and paid
  • Payment must be made at registration.  
  • Select your shooting squad time at registration.
  • Cost is $75.00 + tax per student

Washington Waterfowl Association Annual Youth Mentor Shotgun Shoot

September 29, 2019 from 12PM – 4PM

Youth shooters aged 12-16 will have the opportunity to learn safe firearm handling and shotgun shooting skills in a controlled and fun environment.

Each participant will receive firearms safety training, one-on-one individual instruction, shells, range fees, use of a shotgun, one round of trap, a WWA hat and lunch.

Participants must be accompanied by a Parent/Legal Guardian/Adult. Reservations must be received by September 22, 2019.  Limited to 50 youth shooters. Registration is required.  No walk-on’s, No exceptions.

You must attend the Firearms Safety Training at 12:30 pm in order to be allowed to shoot.

1st Youth Intro to Shooting Sports Day

Kenmore Range and the National Shooting Sports Foundation present the Youth Shooting Sports Intro Day at Kenmore Range.

The event provides fun and educational workshops for youth ages 10-17. Qualified instructors will provide training on how to safely handle and shoot archery, pistol, rife and shotgun. All equipment, ammunition and safety gear will be provided.

  • All participants must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian throughout the entire program
  • All participants will be required to sign a waiver at check in
  • A raffle with prizes will be awarded
  • Concessions available.

When: Saturday, August 17, 2019 | 0900-1700
Ages: 10-17
Cost: Free

Kenmore Hosts Continental Trap League Shoot! – Feb 10

Puget Sound Olympic Continental Trapshooting League (PSOCTL): www.shootcontinental.com

2019 shooting fees are $32 per 100 targets or $16 for 50 target participants.

  • Make checks or money order payable to “PSOCTL”.
  • Include payment for both first and last shoots to reserve your squad and post position for the entire season.
  • You may prepay for the entire season.

Fees

  • $64 for 100 target shooters
  • $32 for 50 target shooters
  • $16 for Junior and sub-Juniors shooting 50 targets
  • $32 for Junior and sub-Juniors shooting 100 targets

NOTE: Registration must be postmarked no later than December 16, 2018. Shooters must provide valid club membership by Jan 20, 2019 to count scores for your club.

PITA Milestone Shot

Greg Miner reach 100,000 registered targets on October 20th, this is a big Milestone in the PITA.

Greg started shooting 17 years ago, he has shot in competition all over the Pacific Northwest, including, British Columbia, Hawaii, Arizona, Nevada, Montana, Ohio, and Illinois’s.

He has won multiple shoots in Singles, Handicap, and Doubles and is the current back to back B class Washington Doubles Champ!

Greg is also on the Washington State PITA Board, which oversees the shoots in WA.

Congratulations Greg on reaching 100,000 registered targets!!!
