Winter Bullseye Postal Practice and League

Indoor Postal Practice Begins November 14

Stay sharp through the winter! Join us every Thursday evening and select Saturday afternoons for our Indoor Postal Practice and League on Thursday’s from November 14, 2019 – April 2, 2020, 7-9PM and Saturday’s from 1-3PM on 12/28, 1/4, 1/18, 2/1, 2/15, and 3/7 at the Clubhouse Indoor Range.

This event is only for .22 handguns, standard velocity ammo recommended.

There is a $40 participation fee payable, in cash, on arrival of the start date of the league.

WCW CMP Game Nov 10

WCW will be hosting a CMP Game next Sunday, November 10th, registration will be open at 8:15 AM.

Competitors a choice of Course A or B, most of the time Course B is chosen.  Carbines are allowed too – see Table 5 for the carbine course of fire.  Special note to anyone firing a M-1 Carbine – bring your own ammo – the club does not have carbine ammo available in the pro-shop.

[1] The 200-yard SR target, Rule 4.3.5, is used for all stages. Alternatively, all stages may be fired at 100 yards on the NRA SR-1 target.

CMP Games Rifle Match

Competition open to:
Any eligible competitor, you need not be a member of the NRA, CMP or the sponsoring club. All competitors must have a notarized “Eligibility Affidavit and Liability Agreement” (http://thecmp.org/wp-content/uploads/Affidavit.pdf) on file at the sponsoring club or present at registration. All competitors who are not current WCW club members must complete a club “Liability Agreement” during registration.

Entry Fee: $20 fee for all competitors

Entries Close: 09:15AM – Registration Opens at 8:00 AM.  After 9:15 AM the sponsoring club will no longer take entries.

Firing Starts: 09:30AM

Youth Rifle 6 Slots Still Available!

Youth rifle runs from mid-September through the beginning of April on Friday nights with relays at 7pm, 8pm, 9pm and 10pm, depending on the age group shooting. Youth rifle shooters are from 10 to 18 years old and must complete either the Home Firearms Safety Class, Basic Rifle or the Hunter Education Class prior to participating. The fee for Youth rifle is $80.00 per year and includes the use of a rifle and ammunition. Beginning in September, returning Youth Rifle shooters receive an email to determine if they wish to continue shooting and the information necessary to register to shoot. New youth rifle shooters on the waiting list are sent an email only if there are available openings in the program.

Youth use .22 rifles, either their own, or club supplied.  The cost per shooter is $80 for club fees and an additional $35 if also interested in participating in 4-H. Fees include all necessary equipment (rifles, ammunition and targets). Ear muffs and safety glasses are available but you may want to consider buying a set for yourself and your child as the clubs are well used. Some shooters do bring their own rifles, a Coach reviews them before they can be used on our line. If you are considering providing a rifle for your youth (not necessary) please discuss this with a coach before purchasing to ensure it meets requirements. 

Youth are assigned a spot on 1 of 4, 1-hour relay times which run at 7PM, 8PM, 9PM and 10PM. Each relay can accommodate 11 youth. Youth are assigned a relay by age and family need.

For youth interested in participating, a pre-requisite course from those listed below is necessary for participation at Kenmore Range.  Once they have completed a pre-requisite course, confirmation of completion will be required before they are allocated a slot.

The following are acceptable pre-requisite classes and links to registration contacts. There are no exceptions, all youth must complete an approved safety course prior to shooting in practice. Youth can sit through practice, but will not be allowed on the firing line until an approved safety course is completed (Kenmore Range requirement).

Please note that most classes require pre-registration and are not walk-in classes. It can take several weeks to get into an approved course, so we recommend signing up for a course asap if your youth is interested in participating

2019 Washington State Outdoor Archery Championship

September 7th & 8th, 2019

A Star Event Tournament

Join us for the Washington State Outdoor  Championship. Sanctioned by World Archery & USA Archery.  A 720 Saturday morning.  Sunday will be a 1440 Round.  Highest cumulative score wins.

Optional Team Rounds will be done Saturday Afternoon.

Kenmore Hosts Continental Trap League Shoot! – Feb 10

Puget Sound Olympic Continental Trapshooting League (PSOCTL): www.shootcontinental.com

2019 shooting fees are $32 per 100 targets or $16 for 50 target participants.

  • Make checks or money order payable to “PSOCTL”.
  • Include payment for both first and last shoots to reserve your squad and post position for the entire season.
  • You may prepay for the entire season.

  • $16 for Junior and sub-Juniors shooting 50 targets

Annual WCW Big Game 3-D Archery Shoot

The annual WCW Big Game 3-D Archery & Cascade Cup Star FITA event will take place on the weekend of July 14-15, 2018.

There will be over 50+ realistic hunting shots on three separate courses.

Big Game 3-D
Registration: Saturday: 6AM-12 & Sunday 6AM-Noon.
Shooting times: Saturday: 6AM-6PM & Sunday 6AM-4PM

Continental breakfast served until 8AM, Lunch is available onsite from 12-4PM (hamburgers, hotdogs, coffee and soda). No alcohol or overnight camping is allowed.
